Openscreen invites you to a movie night exploring children’s relationship with money: how do they get it, how do they like to spend it and what does it represent to them. Based on the short documentary “Kids + Money” (2008) from director Lauren Greenfield, in which children in Los Angeles talk about money, we will discuss the different issues that are being addressed by the movie in the context of Luxembourg with journalist Ines Kurschat, Lëtzebuerger Land, where she focuses especially on social and educational questions.
This new format is different from our traditional Openscreen session in that we selected a movie followed by a discussion about a social and cultural issue.
