Call for short films: Openscreen Halloween

In times of uncertainty, there is always a movie character who has a worse day than yours…

Our traditional Openscreen Halloween is awaiting you on Saturday 31 October 2020, from 20:00 in Ellergronn-Esch with a cozy campfire, sweet marshmallows and yummy pumpkin soup. And, as not to become too comfortable, we are looking for weird, scary and surreal movies to show that night.

Everyone is welcome to take part and contribute to this real Halloween experience. There is no competition and no jury. You have freedom of expression. And we have all the curiosity in the world to see what stories you want to share with us.

Let your imagination guide you! And share with us your brave and scary ideas.

Of course, some rules have to be followed:

  • All movies have to be less than 20 minutes long.
  • No hate speech or pornography.
  • Make sure to respect the submission deadline, which is September 15, 2020.

Please note that time-slots at our events are limited and allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

If interested, simply get in touch with us at info [at] openscreen.lu or just send us your short film.

We want you to scare us out of our wits 🙂 .
